Julia Zhao Kendall is a professional full time painter and an art teacher I have been involved in many major art shows and exhibitions in China and Canada. My arts education is a combination of traditional and contemporary, Eastern and Western. I graduated from traditional animation (both 2d and 3d) in Canada, oil painting at Beijing Academy of Cerntre Art, worked as a 2d and 3d artist in the top levels of video game and television broadcasting for many years, such as EA Canada and Climax L.A.
Teaching is my most enjoyable role: My teaching method is not only about having fun with my students while exploring their talents, but also leading them toward a positive direction, and using their abilites to develop more opportunity for their future. Small classes allow me to focus on each student individually, giving me insight into how to increase their skills and guide their learning in a fast and effective way.
